A combination of factors has reduced the amount of blogging I’ve been doing lately.
At work I’ve been doing a lot of Microsoft partner training, teaching people about SCCM 2012 and WS2012 Hyper-V. That’s continuing into October, so I’m not doing too much new stuff in the office.
I’m doing some launch event prep starting tomorrow. Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 events and a road show will consume a good chunk of my time.
At home, writing chapters, doing reviews, and taking a break from everything takes up a lot of time. My last chapter clocked in at 84 pages of text. That might get chopped into two chapters, requiring more text for intro/exit, and I’m about to launch into another chapter that requires research, lab work, writing, and verification. I’m really hoping to keep this one under 30 pages ![]()
Not to mention that we’re in the eye of the storm of the release schedule. Nothing is happening between RTM and GA. I’d guess that things will pick up in the 48 hours before Oct Sept 4th for WS2012 and the day before the Windows 8 launch on Oct 26th.
