ReadyBoost is a feature of Windows Vista and Windows 7 that is aimed at PC’s and laptops that have slow hard disks, i.e. under 7,200 RPM. It allows you to use a USB stick (or even internal USB) as a cache for files that are read from the hard disk, thus making them quicker to load and improving the performance of your PC.
