  1. I’m considering taking the 70-246 exam and am wondering if and how much would I gain by reading this book. Will it prepare me for the exam? Is there some additional literature that you can suggest?

I have MCSA 2008 and am studying for the 70-659 (I think I’ll be able to pass it), but I don’t have any experience with most of the SC products (want to learn and gain MCSE: Private Cloud). I’ve used and am quite acquainted VMM, DPM, but that’s about it, our company as it currently is is a bit small for the rest.

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

The new MCSE covers all of System Center. The Private Cloud book will educate you on building the fabrics using VMM and App Controller.

70-659 is W2008 R2 Virtualisation. Mastering Hyper-V Deployment and the VDI content from TechNet will help with that.

    Hi Aidan Finn,

Is this book still up-to-date and can I use it for exam 70-246 and 70-247?

    Thanks
